WG D – feedback WFD reporting - SWEDEN Niklas Holmgren, Vice Director The Competent Authority of South Baltic River Basin District, Sweden
First cycle done! All RBD hearings done 1st September Management plans decided December Released all envelopes to ReportNet by 19th March
Technical aspects A reporting tool for the national WISE system (called WISS) was developed Expensive investments – useful for future reporting (Floods and Marine Directive upcoming) Specific functionality for WFD reporting (imports from excel, validation checks, open interface for involved MS authorities)
Intercalibration - done for status and quality factor men saknas för Impacts och Pressure. Där faller POM vid EU jämförelse.
COM tools and HelpDesk Quick response time from Helpdesk Adequate documentation Tools – several times misconfigured but quickly fixed. Data model came late in our process – ½ year earlier more helpful
Costs WFD reporting 2008-2010 Database development: 200 000 € Collecting data specific reporting: Water Authorities 5 000 hours: 200 000 € (40 persons involved) SEPA: 500 hours: 20 000 € Geological Survey: 500 hours: 20 000 € Hydrological Institute: 1 500 hours: 60 000 € TOTAL: 500 000 €
