T.ex tall, taller, the tallest small, smaller, the smallest

4 Tre stavningssvårigheter
1) Adjektiv som slutar på konsonant +y – där blir ”y” till ”i” istället T. ex happy, happier, the happiest 2) I några korta adjektiv som slutar på en konsonant lägger man till ytterligare en likadan konsonant T.Ex fat, fatter, the fattest 3) I adjektiv som slutar på ett -e som inte uttalas, tar man bort detta -e framför -er och -est. T.ex nice, nicer, the nicest

5 Långa adjektiv kompareras med more och the most
Om ett ord har tre eller fler stavelser så använder man more och the most. T.ex important, more important, the most important

6 Några adjektiv kompareras oregelbundet
T.ex ill, worse, (the) worst good , better, (the) best little, less, (the) least worse, (the) worst
