Background In 2007 the City of Sundbyberg and its public real estate developer were planning to build a new mixed area, Stora Ursvik. Traditional bin based waste collection and Envac’s underground waste transportation system were considered. Sweco was commissioned to conduct an environmental impact simulation of both systems by Envac. The result of this simulation with regard to traffic emissions is presented in this study. The following parameters were compared: Driving distance (km) Number of street intersections passed Number of hours in the area Carbon monoxide (CO) Hydrocarbons (HC) Nitrogen oxides (NO2) Particles

113 waste deposits with 3 waste fractions Handling: 389 m3 waste to energy 127 m3 paper 69 m3 organic waste per week at normal duty. Heavy duty - 20% more. Placement of the 113 waste deposit points
