2 En energiborrare som producerar 100 m om dagen med 200 arbetsdagar åstadkommer 20 000 metrar/år.
Varje meter levererar en effekt av i snitt 30 W/m borrhål, vilket blir 600 kW totalt. Tillämpat som bergvärme med timmars drifttid ger avger hålen MWh/år. Detta motsvarar ca fat eldningsolja (verkningsgrad 0.7 i pannan). Värdet på denna olja är idag ca 1 miljon kronor (100 dollar/fat). Efter 40 år kommer dessa borrhål att ha sparat in fat till ett värde av 40 miljoner kronor. Under tiden har samma borrare hunnit göra ytterligare meter borrhål med samma besparingseffekt. Bara att lyfta på hatten. Grattis !!!!!! Ett oljefat = kWh
